Easter is right around the corner and Target has some adorable goodies that are perfect for the classroom! Last year, I went a little crazy with all the cuteness…
I bought these little pockets last year and saw that they had the SAME items around this year. I also bought the little letter stickers and used adhesive glue to make sure they stayed.
I bought some eggs for an “egg-cellent” sentence scramble…
And I got to work making some adorable centers for my first graders.
All of the activities I created for first grade had the word with the picture so that they could practice reading and spelling.
Since I am teaching second grade this year, I wanted to give them something a little more challenging. See what I did there? I removed the words. I took the words out of the r-controlled vowel sort, the long vs. short vowel sort, and the ie vs. igh sort.
It was a little trickier, they had to really think about it, but they loved the challenge!
I apologize for the lack of pictures for the other sorts….but you know how it goes! #guidedreading
I also left these other math activities in the mix in case anyone found these adorable erasers. My students can’t use them this year, but maybe yours can!
You can get this bundle of goodness HERE FOR FREE!
Enjoy, friends!
